Yes, I am back at school. So far it has been ok, except for the fact that I almost fell asleep 100 times in my finance class. When the professor finally let us go, I turned to the girl next to me who said, "you look like you are high! Your eyes are soooo bloodshot!", so ya, that's how I do it. I can't really tell if I am going to like the class or not. I like the straight forwardness of the teacher though. There are 2 exams each worth 50% of the grade. He does not consider attendance, participation, or gives out homework. Show up, take really good notes, and that's it. However, it doesn't give you much room to fuck up either, so....
My other classes that I have had so far are ok. I have anther silly professor (not from China this time, it's Taiwan!)and one who seems to be a little of a hard-ass. Not that the one mentioned above isn't a hard-ass, but, you know. I have a 2 hour gap, then it is off to Human Resource Management. I could've had all my classes with my buddies from last semester, but I deviated a little to see if this field interests me. Gotta know so I know how to gear my electives. I think that this semester is going to have more studying and more trouble than the last. At least there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
In other (weekend) news, I worked Friday then went to the grocery store to shop for the food I needed to prepare for the baby shower that took place on Saturday. It was pretty fun. Everyone was trippin' over how thin the mother-to-be had gotten. Due to justational diabetes, she is on a strict diet and has lost a ton of weight. It's pretty crazy. I think after she has the baby she will be the thinnest she has been since highschool. It's really cool. They got tons of presents and felt very loved, I think.
Saturday night was spent partially at Josh's birthday celebration, and partially at Cristal's birthday celebration. I got pretty tipsy at the bar, but it wore off by the time Steve, Guy and myself had finished eating pizza at Etna's.
Sunday was back at work for me, then spending the evening with a lovely lady known as Erika. Then again on Monday night, where she and I met up with Danielle to go to a Mary-Kay makeover thingy. I tell you, Mary-Kay ladies are creepy indeed (except for my friend, of course!) although, the products are very nice. Maybe when I have more money.
I am so glad to be off tomorrow. It sucks getting up so early for school, and I will probably have to get up even earlier then I did today, because I was 15 minutes late for school today.
Sunday I start vacation, and the weekend after that I am going to Seattle. Oh my I am looking forward to this break.
